A staff member named Rhonda was our hero. Needless to say my patience had run out, and I became a bit vocal.
After waiting 45 minutes more at 5, we ask once again to be told the same thing, the rooms were not clean. We ask if our rooms were ready, only to be told by another non interested staff member that they still were not clean to check back at 4! When I ask her what time it was she said 415, she obviously was not mentally into what she was doing. It was 4:15 (check in is 4) when we were back up in the lobby. The waiter was very nice though, a young man. It took 1.5 hours to get the food and the pizza was cooked incorrectly. We order 1 pizza and French fries and one hamburger. The blond waitress acted as though we were a bother to seat. Due to having two elderly parents in their 80s we opted for going to the restaurant downstairs from the hotel. They advised us that they would put a rush on cleaning and to go have lunch or wait in our car. Staff was very vague and non interested in helping. When we got to the hotel we were told our two rooms were not clean and that was the only two adjoining rooms they had. We called ahead 1 week or more to have adjoining rooms and early arrival. To begin with we traveled 6 hours to get to Rocky Gap.
